Land of the Damned: K123

A Noob Is a Noob Is a Noob! My game name was originally Dagore, and for the longest time, I didn’t know we could change our nicknames. Once I found out, I quickly changed mine to Sha, and it stayed that way for a long, long time. I’ve decided to break down my experience in the Kingdom into different categories to make it easier to follow, rather than writing one endless block of text. The Clandestine Clans I started in K123, automatically placed in what was probably a system-generated clan. It felt completely dead—people were constantly joining and leaving. I left too. But here’s the thing: the game practically forces you to be in a clan. Every time I tried to do something, the game would insist I join a clan first. I had no choice but to comply. 1. RVA: Moral High-Headedness I don’t remember my very first clan, but the one I consider my true starting point was RVA. Nadain was the leader, with several supervisors (or "sups"). The Hook!

Let’s be honest — the game reeled us in with those ads showing soldiers sprinting, guns blazing, blasting through addition and subtraction signs like it was a fast-paced reflex game. It looked like something simple, something that would just test how quickly you could tap your screen. That’s what I thought too. At first, I was just blindly following the step-by-step instructions popping up after each task. Raise your Capitol. Train troops. Increase your might. All simple, small steps. I didn’t think much of it. The red flags were there, though — I just ignored them. I missed the fact that the game was quietly getting me hooked on building, upgrading, and growing stronger. The quick action from ...

About Me: Queen of Chaos (and Kingdoms)

Hi, I’m Iskra. Total Battle is more than just a game to me — it’s been a lifeline. When I was diagnosed with cancer, my world shifted overnight. I needed something — anything — to pull my mind away from the constant weight of hospitals, treatments, and the fear that quietly follows you everywhere. I first tried PUB-G because my nieces, nephews, and my daughter were all into it, but it didn’t stick. I wasn’t great at it, and every time I started over, it felt like I was losing ground. I wanted something I could build, something that could grow with me. That’s when I found Total Battle — a game that met me right where I was. It wasn’t just about fighting; it was about strategy, structure, long-term goals, and being part of a world that moved whether I was there or not. It gave me something to look forward to during long days in the hospital, through surgeries, through radiation, through recovery. The discipline I found in the game helped me find my footing in real life too. Alm...
