Memories of K116: Glory, Chaos, and the Friendships That Endured
A New Kingdom, A New Adventure
When I teleported to K116, the kingdom
had been open for just three months. Miss Witcher from K123 was in K116 under
another ID (some people just love a secret life) and she put in a good word for
me with John. John was ranked #15 in the Global Might rankings. He took me into
his clan, MWP, even though I was just 40 million might — basically a baby with a
wooden sword.
Falling Down the Rabbit Hole
Moving from a closed kingdom to an
open one—even a freshly opened one—is like stepping into Alice in
Wonderland. You’re fascinated, confused, and slightly terrified, all at the
same time. In a closed kingdom, you live like a child at home with their
parents: shielded, spoiled, and convinced the world is kind. Then you land in
an open kingdom and it’s like getting shoved out the front door into a
battlefield. Suddenly, you’re experiencing all these firsts: the first time you
get attacked, the first KvK, the first time you realize your shield expired
while you were sleeping.
The KvK Chaos
Our first KvK felt like what the lava
event feels like now: complete chaos. Either we were sprinting to provide
support, or we were dying in spectacular fashion. We had designated players who
would play KvK while the rest of us signed up to be the support crew (read: the
professional bunker potatoes). I proudly joined the “never playing KvK, just
supporting those who do” club. Honestly, we should’ve had jackets.
Kingdom Order (For a While)
K116 was surprisingly organized. John
was the designated King. The ROE was solid and, shockingly, everyone was
actually following it. The main clans I remember were MWP, SG1, HAY, VGD/s
(there were so many spin-offs I lost count), and COS.
The big names running K116—if my
memory serves me right and not just creating false nostalgia—were the clan
leaders and some key supporters: John, Sniffy, Maveth, Flo, Birax, Widowmaker,
ALABAMA, Tancred, and Sparapet. To small players like me, everything looked
perfectly fine, but underneath that calm surface, the pot was quietly boiling
over.
Trouble Brews
VGD wasn’t happy about being left out
of the palace’s top titles. You know how that goes — no shiny title, no peace.
They started whispering with the GuN clan and eventually invited them over with
promises of support and (I assume) cake. About a week before the grand arrival,
GuN sent in their scout, SOLIST, who basically came to measure the curtains.
Soon, GuN arrived, and with VGD’s help, they waltzed in, took over the Senate,
Valkirye became King, and made Birax from VGD the Queen.
Kingdom Meltdown
Naturally, Kingdom Chat exploded.
People saw them as invaders. At least, that’s how I remember it — and honestly,
it felt like watching a medieval soap opera unfold in real time. Things
escalated fast. I’m talking zero to war in sixty seconds fast. Every
comment against GuN’s arrival was treated like a personal insult, and they
started steamrolling players who weren’t even 25% of their might — basically,
they were stepping on ants and calling it a battle.
Gold, Wars, and the Oprah Moment
And then, as if to really drive the
point home, Valkirye started handing out 1 million gold royal bonuses to his
clanmates like he was Oprah.
“You get a bonus! You get a bonus!
Everyone gets a bonus!”
Soon, clan forts and capitals were under siege, and the kingdom was on fire. The Birth of WAR
In response, the strongest players and
leaders from across the kingdom banded together to form a super-clan
called WAR. Leaders, sups (senior players), and basically every warrior
who thought they were hot stuff joined forces to push back against GuN.
What we didn’t realize was that this wasn’t the glorious comeback story—it was
actually the beginning of the end.
WAR didn’t really achieve much when it came to kicking GuN out, but it did teach the big players something else: they had way more fun hanging out with people their own size. Slowly, they stopped thinking about their original clans and the smaller players they used to mentor. The old loyalties faded, and one by one, clans just… dissolved.
Tancred was among the first to make the jump, taking few of his clanmates to K118 or K120. After that, it was a mass exodus. Pretty much anyone who could leave, left.
I eventually moved to K95—but that’s a story for another day.
And here’s the kicker: Birax—the same guy who helped invite GuN in the first place—ended up joining WAR to fight against them. You couldn’t make this stuff up. In the end, VGD crumbled, and most of its leaders packed their bags and relocated to AGW in K111.

Treasured Memories of K116
Even though K116 eventually collapsed,
the memories I carry from that kingdom are some of the best I’ve had in the
game. It wasn’t just about the wars—it was about the friendships, the kindness,
and the chaos we somehow thrived in.
The Legendary CP Runs
Oh, how I missed those “freebies” when
I moved away. John used to organize CP runs just to help smaller players grow.
And get this—he did it for free. To this day, I have no idea why. Honestly, who
does that? Later, when I started doing CP in defense or those infamous 5v1s, I
realized just how expensive those runs actually were. John was basically
handing out gold on a silver platter.
The Chats: The Heart of K116
It honestly felt like the game somehow
knew who the chatterboxes were and just threw us all into K116 together.
Whether it was a sup, a judge, or a random passerby, all you had to do was send
a message and you’d get long, and often hilariously off-topic
conversations. KC was where we came to life. We had entire sessions where
we only spoke Urdu, because there were so many Indian and Pakistani friends.
Kiki, Peaky (who went by another name back then), Balla, and I would just not
shut up.
Update on the Good People of K116
Most of the clans I knew from K116
eventually moved to K130—at least, that’s as far as my information goes.
But like all things in Total Battle, people don’t stay put for long.
Here’s a quick update on some of the legends from those days:

John: The Nomad King
John moved the clan to K130 under
the name FUR. Sounds solid, right? Well, turns out he had a pretty epic
falling out with the sups over how to run the clan. Classic John. He then
drifted to OST Main for a while, but rumor has it he got kicked out
after another disagreement. (John and disagreements seem to go hand-in-hand.)
One of his old clanmates gave me the details and I’m quoting directly here:
"He and I had a big fight in K130 over how to run FUR. He left, stayed in OST for a while, came back, apologized, and wanted to merge with eWt in K127. Worst kingdom ever—it was like K116 but more sour. The merger went horribly, John left eWt, tried his luck with JWR in K127, and then left for OST again. I heard he got kicked over another disagreement, went to DoD, and got kicked again for trying to snipe epics at 3 stacks. After that, I lost track—or maybe people just stopped telling me where he was. In my book, he’s an idiot with a grandeur complex."
Personally, I remember John as a kind, generous person—someone who had a bit of a communication barrier but a really good heart. The vibe in K116 was different. He thrived there.
Post-K116? He just couldn’t find his footing.

Sparapet [HAY Leader]
Spara actually broke his PC when we
were in WAR and practically disappeared from the game. (Some say it was a rage
quit—others blame bad hardware.)
But he must’ve gotten it fixed eventually, because he resurfaced in DeF in K95, then in AIR, and later started his own clan with Leia in some kingdom I can’t quite remember. Maybe the PC wasn’t the real problem after all. I have no idea whether they are still running that clan or he has quit but I haven't seen him in any main clan.

Maveth [SG1]
SG1 took their key players
to TJG and stayed there for quite a while. I think they eventually
moved to AGW in K111 for a bit. Now, Maveth and Deandra are
rocking it in GoD Main.
Stormy / Eric [MWP]
They moved to AGW in K111 too.
Later, they probably started their own clan—I vaguely remember seeing them
leading somewhere else. Last I saw, they were in BWU. Seems like they’ve
kept busy.
VGD Leadership
On a personal level, I have a lot of
respect for WIDOWMAKER, ALABAMA, and Uncle Deadly.
Widowmaker and Alabama are in AGW, and Uncle Deadly is in SYN—he’s
honestly amazing. We were clanmates in SYN for a while, and I have nothing but
good memories of him.
I did hear a rumor that Birax might
be joining SYN too, but honestly, I was never even curious enough to follow up
on that.
My Friends
Kiki and I sadly drifted apart. She
got upset with me over something personal I wasn’t ready to share, and she
thought I didn’t see her as a close enough friend. She moved to one of GoD’s
sub-clans—this was before the GoD split.
RURIN, Balla, PAT, and I? We were the ultimate gossip squad. We even had our own chatroom just for the tea. PAT later moved to SPR and changed her nickname (I’ve totally forgotten what it is now). Balla quit the game. RURIN went to TJG with Maveth and Deandra. We stayed in touch on Discord for a while, always planning to reunite in the same clan—but life kept getting in the way, and eventually, we just lost contact.
Peaky? He’s still around, just like me. We still talk. I call him my friend, but whether he considers me his friend is… well, still under review. I’ll keep you posted.
NOKEY had moved from K123 to K116 a little before I did. We were quite good friends, but he was dealing with some personal stuff and just disappeared one day. I think he probably left the game.

Looking Back
When I think about K116, I don’t just
remember the wars or the betrayals—I remember the friendships, the laughter,
and the kindness that made me feel like I belonged.
Even though we all scattered, a piece
of K116 still travels with me—etched in every battle I fight, in every chat I
open.
